Abstract

The purpose. Development of a method for improving the classical hypotheses of the accumulation of fatigue damages, giving them the possibility of directly constructing the resource distribution function of machine parts, with the determination of its parameters.
Methods. Analysis of the internal structure and structure of the previously developed entropy-probabilistic model for the development of the known hypotheses of the accumulation of fatigue damages with giving them the possibility of directly constructing the resource distribution function of machine parts with the determination of its parameters.
Results. A method and analytical support for the restructuring of the classical hypotheses of the accumulation of fatigue damage has been developed to assess and predict the fatigue and durability of machine parts in a probabilistic aspect.

Originality. On the basis of the entropy-probabilistic model, a method is proposed for improving the classical hypotheses of the accumulation of fatigue damages, giving them the ability to directly construct the resource distribution function of machine parts, with the determination of its parameters.
Practical implications. The proposed approach for processing the classical hypotheses of fatigue damage accumulation creates conditions and provides an opportunity for specific, possibly specific loading modes of machine elements, selection of the most adequate models and performing calculations in a probabilistic aspect.
